Organic real ale producer, Stroud Brewery, is celebrating its 10th year in business with the launch of its first organic canned products: Alederflower and IPA.

The Alederflower is a subtle elderflower infused pale ale with organic Cascade and Nelson Sauvin hops and a 4.9% ABV. The second is a juicy, hop forward IPA at 5.6% ABV with organic New Zealand Motueka and Cascade hops taking centre stage. Both the Alederflower & IPA are also available in Keg and Cask formats.

Greg Pilley, owner and managing director of Stroud Brewery, comments: “At Stroud Brewery we have been producing organic bottled beers for nearly 10 years. We wanted to do something extra special to mark our 10th Anniversary and decided to venture into creating a range of organic products in cans.  The environmental impacts and in house quality control of cans sits very easily with our organic ethos and we’re really pleased with the new beers that go in them.”

To sustain and continue growth, Stroud Brewery also recently redesigned and upgraded its entire packaging and point of sale. The recognizable Stroud Brewery logo remains and aims to give a strong artisan feel.

“We want to be recognised as a leading organic brewery” says Pilley. “Despite the highly competitive market of craft beers, steady, sustainable growth is our aim. Ensuring consistent quality, and championing the independent retailers, maintaining a premium for our products is how we have achieved this so far.”

Stroud Brewery plans to double its turnover over the next 5 years. It has recently started supplying Vinceremos, and has a longstanding working relationship with Vintage Roots – each specializes in organic alcoholic drinks.
