The Body Shop announces head office relocation to Brighton

The Body Shop has announced a major move of it’s head office headquarters to Brighton, marking a ‘significant cultural reset’ for the business following it’s rescue from administration.

Until recently, head office operations have been split between Littlehampton, West Sussex and London, but will be merged together under one roof for the first time in decades.

The new head office will be located close to the University of Brighton at the Plus X Innovation hub, which describes itself as ‘an eco-system of innovative businesses with a combined mission to drive positive change in the world.’

The Body Shop already occupies an office at the hub, but plans to expand as the workforce increases.

The cosmetics giant began life in Brighton almost 50 years ago, and has returned to the city for it status of celebrating ‘diversity and creativity, with a vibrant youth culture.’

CEO Charles Denton said: “As we work to rebuild and reimagine the future of our brand, it’s essential we foster an innovative and collaborative culture to make this next stage in the journey possible.”
