Raye the store has opened its latest health and wellness discovery space at Old Spitalfields Market, where it will be housed until 30 July.
The pop-up, in partnership with artisanal ice cream brand Araw, is home to over 240 products from 70 emerging food, drinks and wellness brands – including Sunny & Luna, Radiant Foods, The Turmeric Co, Candour Wine, TCHA, The Oh Collective and Wear ‘Em Out – of which 80% are plant-based and 90% are UK-founded.
The space will also host a range of immersive in-store events including panel discussions, taste sessions and brand focused events to unlock the unique stories behind each brand, yoga, breathwork and Ayurvedic energy readings.
We are delighted to partner with ice cream brand Araw during this pop-up as they share our vision
Raye’s curated selection of products will sit alongside an all-natural ice cream bar serving Araw’s inventive flavours and weekly dessert specials, with vegan options available. In addition to its core range – including Earl Grey Malted Crumble, Brown Butter Sage with Spiced Apple Compote and Basque Cheesecake – Araw will be launching new flavours exclusively available to raye the store.
“I created Raye as a destination for discovery, since then we have evolved from offering a beautiful curation of brands to immersive events where customers can experience new offerings and learn about product innovation directly from founders and industry experts,” explains founder Nicole Compen. “We are delighted to partner with ice cream brand Araw during this pop-up as they share our vision for food innovation, creativity and transparent business practices.”
The 600 sq ft space has been led by design team Studio Böreck alongside architectural designer Rawan Muqaddas, and aims to evoke the feel of summer using a bright orange palette.
This seventh incarnation follows successful stores in Shoreditch, Chelsea, Covent Garden, Regent Street and Notting Hill, each with a different interior and brand selection. Further London pop-ups will follow later this year.
