Following its success in Canada, The Spice Sanctuary has launched in the UK, offering certified organic single speciality spices, blends and seasonings.

The hand-harvested spices are backed by clear provenance and are ethically sourced directly from single estate organic farms and co-ops.

Commenting on the launch, Spice Sanctuary (UK) MD Trusha Patel, says: “We noticed a gap in the UK market for a spice range that offers a supremely fresh and flavourful cross-selection of single speciality and multi-use seasoning and blends.

“We want to prove that not all spices are created equally. Our Golden Milk (Turmeric Latte) spice blend is one of the only ones on the market that contains 62% organic turmeric of the highest Alleppey grade and contains minimum 4.2% curcumin content (the highest being 5%), delivering a distinctly purer flavour and more benefits to consumers. This blend truly disrupts current offerings and upholds the whole purpose of drinking turmeric milk.

“In response to consumer trends, our Sweet Delight Spice Blend actively reduces sugar intake in the morning by being a great addition to breakfast dishes and doubles up as a baking ingredient. With our Smoked Cumin, we took a traditional spice and turned it on its head, creating a more current yet easy ingredient to flavour food with in a non-traditional way. As well as being the only organic cumin on the market that is wood smoked.”
