In preparation for the compilation of its 2018 Organic Market Report, the Soil Association is asking for input from independent retailers.

The association says that although there is plenty of data available regarding sales of organic through the major supermarket chains, independent retail is expanding much more rapidly and as yet there is no central data source.

Calling on retailers to get involved, the Soil Association says: “Your input, opinions and forecasts are extremely important and will help in estimating the overall size of the market and the significance of this channel.”

The survey takes under five minutes to complete and the first 50 surveys returned will receive a free downloadable copy of the report when it is launched in February 2018.

The deadline for the completed surveys is Friday 3 November 2017.
