The winners of the second Free From Gift Awards have been announced, with Rhug Wild Beauty taking the Overall Champion prize for its Hand Wash & Hand Lotion Duo in Gift Box.
The Free From Gift Awards were launched in 2020 as a two-yearly spin-off award by the team behind the annual Free From Skincare Awards to celebrate the best beauty sets, skincare trial packs and cosmetic stocking fillers from brands who manufacture products that are ‘free from’ some of the allergens, chemicals, additives and fragrances associated with skin sensitivities, allergies, and ethical, environmental and health concerns.
“What makes the perfect gift to give, or to receive, is so personal, that it was a challenge for judges to remain objective,” said Awards director, Alex Gazzola. “But the gifts which tended to impress the most were those with either wow factor or a rustic vibe, or showing attention to detail in presentation or wrapping, or which featured thoughtful extras in addition to the skincare products, such as a bar of chocolate, a candle, a soft face cloth, or a cosmetic tool.”
