Viridian Nutrition has launched its biggest ever PR campaign and will use it as a platform to promote, and encourage shoppers to find and use, local specialist independent health stores.

Incorporating the exclusive URL www.findahealthstore.co.uk, which takes visitors directly to the company’s online Stockist Locator, the campaign rolls out during March and will run on London buses and in national publications including The Big Issue.

The adverts aim to explain the benefits of shopping at local health stores and outline their points of difference: “Health food stores come in all shapes and sizes – that’s the beauty of independent shops, they are quirky, passionate and individual. A huge improvement on the clone high street chains.”

Steven Hasler, Viridian’s marketing manager, commented that the company is passionate about supporting the independent health store retailers and so wanted a campaign to reflect that. “It is the greatest frustration that many shoppers are not aware that a brilliant independent health store is in their town, but may not be located on the main High Street. This campaign is designed to connect shoppers with their local Viridian stockist.”

Health stores which stock the Viridian Nutrition brand are featured on the website link so visitors can locate their nearest stockist.

In-store posters and social media graphics can be ordered from Viridian by retailers to help them connect with the campaign.
