Natural health and organic wholesaler Tree of Life has launched its own health food store online at Ocado.com in a move that sees the company position itself as a consumer facing brand for the first time.

The move extends Ocado’s relationship with the wholesaler which earlier this year started supplying the online retailer with over 200 product lines.

Commenting on the launch, Tree of Life’s commercial director, Mike Kilcourse, said: “We have been working with Ocado since June to build its offering in the health food and personal care categories. The launch of a dedicated Tree of Life shop is a natural progression and fits with the retailer’s strategy to have branded specialist areas, making the site easy to navigate and shop and offering its consumers the maximum choice.”

The launch of the branded shop, which initially offers around 200 products, aims to bring together for retailers a unique specialist health food, personal care and superfoods range supplied by Tree of Life and also offers the company’s own range which spans nuts, seeds, dried fruit, pulses, cereals and grains, gluten-free, organic pasta and pasta sauces.
