Planet, Riverford and Daylesford all make onto Top 10 Fine Food Retailer list

Three organic operators have made it onto The Grocer magazine’s Top Ten Independent Speciality & Fine Food Retailers list.

Riverford Organic (with sales of £47.2m) grabs the number four slot, Planet Organic (£24.2m) is in at number six and Daylesford (£14.5m) sneaks in at number 10.

Direct Wine (£287.1m) snatched the number one place from North of England supermarket chain Booths (£280.8m).

To qualify as ‘independent’ retailers have to be at least 50% owned by management or family.
