Pip & Nut has expanded into nut milks with the launch of a new ambient almond drinks range.
The three varieties available come in 1 litre cartons and comprise: Almond Drink with Honey & Vanilla; Almond Drink with Coconut; and Unsweetened Almond Drink.
The drinks are 100% natural and are made using ingredients including blossom honey and roasted Californian almonds to give a golden colour. They are naturally sweetened and have no refined sugars or stabilizers. The brand says they have double the almond content of its competitors.
“It’s really exciting to be bringing the Pip & Nut ethos for premium, all-natural, fun and great tasting products into a brand new category for the very first time,” says brand founder Pippa Murray. “The launch signals our intent to become one of the leading brands in the healthy food and drink sector.”
She adds: “We intend to do what we have managed to deliver in the spreads fixture to the almond milk aisle; add incremental sales to the category with our playful, lifestyle brand that focuses on delivering flavour over function.”
