The Prestigious Provence Olive Oil Society (Olivence) has revamped its range in the UK with two new producers and a wider range of oils from the region.

The olive oils from Provence are produced with native olive varieties, harvested from centenarian olive trees. Produced in small craft production units the oils span a wide range of distinctive flavours.

Olivence is made up of six producers from Provence, representing the diversity of the region. This year Moulin du Haut Jasson – La Londe les Maures and Lou Mouli d’Oli – Bourg Saint Andéol joined the existing producers: Moulin Castelas – Les Baux de Provence; Moulin Cornille – Maussane les Alpilles; La Lieutenante – Saint-Martin de Crau; and Vignolis – Nyons.

“Olivence has been finding its feet in the UK and is now a well established premium producer consortium used by the UK’s best restaurants and chefs and available in retail outlets across the UK,” says Mark Dodsworth, UK sales coordinator. “Our new line-up launched this month which follows a really impressive harvest really does shows the most beautiful oils from this wonderful region of France.”
