London-based start-up Olly’s Olives has launched a range of jumbo green olives sourced from Halkidiki, Greece.

The brand says the key to the olives’ superior taste and texture is the fact that, unlike other olive brands, they aren’t pasteurized, so the full flavour, crunchy texture and nutritional content are retained.

Packaged in handy pouches and coming in at under 95 calories per 50g pack, the marinated olives have no stones, no messy oils and no artificial preservatives, and are available in three varieties:

The Hippie: Lemon & Thyme combines green Halkidiki olives jazzed up in a ‘flavour fiesta’ of lemons, thyme, extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of rosemary.

The Connoisseur: Basil & Garlic olives are dressed up in a concoction of garlic, basil and extra virgin olive oil.

The Bandit: Chilli & Rosemary are described as fiery olives spiced up with a tingling marinade of red chillies, extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of rosemary.
