New London start-up My Natural Smile has launched its online store offering natural and organic oral healthcare products for both adults and children.
Offering a selection of natural brands, including Ecodenta, Dr Brite, Himalaya, R.O.C.S and Splat, the products include toothpastes, charcoal teeth whitening and organic oral foam.
The brands use all-natural ingredients such as pomegranate, papaya, mint oil, rosemary extract and thyme, with no harsh alcohol or chemicals.
Company founder Zak Smith told NPN that the idea for the site came from visiting some organic fairs. “I came across some of these brands, fell in love with their stories and what they are trying to achieve, and felt they didn’t have an appropriate voice in the UK. These sorts of products are huge in Australia and certainly on the West Coast of America, and I felt that there needed to be a greater consciousness of just what natural and organic oral healthcare products can bring.
“Given my background of business development within a dental group, I felt we had an opportunity to bring these products to market and tell the story in a different way. I really think there’s a space in the marketplace for these kind of products.”
The products on the website are all endorsed by UK dental group Avsan.
