Dutch juice brand Natur. has chosen the UK as the first market outside its home country to launch its new line of smoothies to retail.

The smoothies are available in three varieties: Goji Galore (strawberry, goji, raspberry, coconut water); Turmeric Tiger (banana, turmeric, pineapple, coconut water); and Matcha Madness (pear, matcha, spinach, coconut water).

“From the farmer to the factory until the juicing, we do everything ourselves,” explains CEO Robert Jan van Olm. “And with innovative techniques the quality is increased and the shelf-life is extended.”

Natur. smoothies are high in fruit and vegetable juice, rich in fibre, and provide vitamins A, B1, B6, B12, C and E. With all three smoothies using a base of coconut water rather than traditional fruit juice, the smoothies offer consumers lower calories and sugar. Each smoothie also contains a superfood, either goji, turmeric or matcha.

Van Olm adds: “Our smoothies use the full fruit; the seed, the pulp and the peel, delivering functional benefits that support natural energy, vitality, and the defence system. We believe these will meet demand from British consumers and will be integral to our plans to grow the brand in the UK. We believe in the force of nature and we want to make that available for everybody.”

The smoothies are initially launching into WHSmith stores.
