Gluten-free bran Nairn’s has launched its new ‘Good Gut Feeling’ digital campaign in partnership with four key influencers in the health and wellbeing world.
The campaign focuses on the importance of good gut health through a website featuring useful gut health tips, blogs and recipe suggestions from four ambassadors: nutritionist, broadcaster and author Amanda Hamilton; free-from blogger Becky Excell; The Gut Stuff creators The Mac Twins; and Scott Baptie, founder of the Food for Fitness website.
“More and more people are beginning to cotton on to just how important gut health is,” comments Hamilton. “As a Scot, I have always been a huge fan of oats and oatcakes, so naturally I’m delighted to have had the chance to team up with Nairn’s to help spread the word on the best practices of getting those good gut feelings.”
“Gut health is a hot topic at the moment because we’re learning more and more about how the gut can affect our overall health,” adds Emma Health, head of marketing at Nairn’s. “That’s why we were so keen to launch this campaign – to dispel lots of complicated myths and help people understand just how beneficial good gut health can be. Oats can also be a good alternative to wheat-based products such as cereals and breads to keep our gut happy, as wheat can trigger digestive problems for some. As endorsed by all four of our ambassadors, eating something as simple as a Nairn’s oatcake can really help support your gut and help you, and your family, get that good gut feeling.”
