Held today, the 8th Beauty Shortlist Mama & Baby Awards saw a plethora of innovative new products from the natural and organic product sector, ranging from aromatherapy-infused stretch mark oils and plant-powered skincare to maternity gifts, baby wraps and portable nap mats.
Weleda, Little Butterfly London, Organii, Pleni Naturals, MooGoo, Lovekins, Bramley’s Little B range, Kokoso Baby and Little Freddie (winner, Best Baby Food Brand and Best Eco Brand) were among the top natural and organic winners at the 8th Beauty Shortlist Mama & Baby Awards.
“2021 has been the highest-scoring year to date, that’s to say collectively and across the board, since the Mama & Baby Awards originally launched eight years ago, in 2014,” says Beauty Shortlist Awards founder Fiona Klonarides commenting on this year’s entries. “The standard of entries overall – particularly in the baby & toddler categories – was excellent.
“These awards serve as a trusted, useful guide for ingredients-conscious consumers, and this year’s Baby Awards results are packed with shining stars created by the brands driving healthy sales and surging interest in the all-important natural and organic market.”
Klonarides highlights five key trends apparent at this year’s awards:
- Multi-tasking mother and baby ‘heroes’ such as Lovekins SOS Rescue Cream, Bramley Little B Magic Balm, Skin Juice Green Juice Skin Rescue Balm, Pod Organics Sweet Pea & Me All Over Balm, Lyonsleaf Zinc & Calendula Balm

- Plastic pollution-busting brands such as Little Freddie (Best Baby Food Brand, Best Eco Product, Best Healthy Snack, Best Recyclable Product) which is diminishing plastic waste with its ‘end goal: zero landfill’ food pouch recycling initiative with eco partner Enval
- Helpful at home and on-the-go solutions such as Stars & Snuggles Apron Baby Bath Towel and Baby Star Travel Wrap and Bloomsbury Mill Nap Mat.
