Danish confectionery brand LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW is launching a new pop-up store at London’s St Pancras Station.

Launching on 1 March, it will be open for four months and offer the full LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW line, including its Chocolate Coated Liquorice in a range of flavours including Passion Fruit, Salmiak, Dark & Sea Salt and Fruity Caramel, as well as its Slow Crafted range.

The pop-up will also offer complementary tastings for visitors in an attempt to convert any haters into ‘true liquorice lovers’ and during its opening week shoppers can claim a free gift with purchase.

The move follows the brand’s entrance into UK retail in 2021 when it was listed in Selfridges, Fenwick and Harvey Nichols.

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new store landing in the UK, marking a pivotal moment for the brand as we continue our dedicated mission of making the world love liquorice,” says founder, Johan Bülow. “With our new store, we aim to offer Londoners a truly unique taste experience, rooted in Danish craftsmanship.”

With sustainability front of mind at each stage of production, the brand’s packaging is recyclable – with its latest innovation being reusable glass jars – and since 2020 its factory has been running on 100% green energy.
