The sun came out last weekend as thousands of people converged on Bristol Waterfront for the 2011 Soil Association Organic Food Festival.

Visitors were able to meet over 150 farmers, producers and makers. As well as well known organic brands the two-day event created a valuable showcase for small, specialist producers. Entertainment was provided by some of Bristol’s brightest new musical acts, while top chefs — including Sophie Grigson and Barnie Haughton — drew the crowds for their live cook-ins.
