Victoria Lambert is HFMA Health Journalist of the Year

The HFMA’s Health Journalist of the Year Award for 2010 has been awarded to Victoria Lambert at Natural and Organic Products Europe on the 4 April.

Victoria Lambert is one of the most experienced freelance health writers in the UK and has written for The Times, The Guardian, and The Sunday Times. She has also held senior roles such as health dditor at the Daily Mail and the Daily Telegraph, as appeared on BBC Breakfast and This Morning as a guest.

Presenting the award, HFMA chairman Martin Last said: Victoria has been a great support and ambassador for the natural health industry through providing balanced and informative journalism. It has been a challenging year for the industry, and the support we receive from the national media is extremely important to us.

Commenting on her award, Victoria said: “I always enjoy writing about natural products and remedies; I know the readers are fascinated by them and I like to provide balanced information. Thank you for this award, I appreciate it very much.”

• Past winners of the Award have included Dr Chris Steele, Dr Thomas Stuttaford, Dr Mark Atkinson, Michael van Straten, Dr Sarah Brewer, Amanda Ursell, Jennifer Harper-Deacon, Gill Cox and last year’s winner, Sarah Hartley.
