VegfestUK is branching out from its consumer events with the launch of VegfestUK Trade, taking place at Kensington Olympia on 20 October 2017.
The company’s first trade show will see a range of cookery demos, lectures and workshops to promote a plant-based diet.
The event will comprise six key areas looking at different aspects of managing and growing vegan businesses. The Vegan Health Clinic is tailored to health professionals and those working in natural health trade who are looking for health advice for their clients, and The Plant-Based Chefs Corner offers vegan recipe ideas and suggestions for catering for vegans.
There is also a Vegan Celebrity Zone; a Vegan Business Support lounge, with self-made entrepreneurs sharing their tips on growing vegan businesses; an Independent Retailers Lounge; and a Vegan Bodycare Pavilion.
Karin Ridgers, Vegfest presenter and host of the show’s Vegan Celebrity Zone, comments: “There has never been a more exciting time for a vegan lifestyle, and according to The Vegan Society research last year there are over 500,000 vegans in the UK – with three-and-a-half times more than ten years ago – making it the biggest growing lifestyle movement.”
