Slow Food UK has confirmed that it will be hosting a special pavilion at next year’s Natural & Organic Products Europe (19-20 April 2015, Excel, London).
Slow Food UK is part of the global, grassroots Slow Food organisation with supporters in over 150 countries around the world, that aims to links the pleasure of food with a commitment to the community and the environment.
Welcoming the development, Marco Carboni, Slow Food UK programmes coordinator, said: “We are extremely excited to be part of Natural & Organic Products Europe 2015 and to bring along some of our fantastic Ark of Taste producers to showcase their forgotten foods in our pavilion. Sharing the message of good, clean and fair food is crucial for Slow Food. We can’t wait to get people involved with lectures and workshops from our Chef Alliance chefs who will be on stage promoting the products of the Ark and helping us to raise awareness for our cause.”
Welcoming the development, Natural & Organic Products Europe event director, carol Dunning, said: “We are delighted to be working together with the slow food movement, who have a natural home with us. As we share the same ideals of producing natural honest food with the very best principles of a mutual respect for our animals and the environment in which we all live.”
