Paul Moore has elected as the new chair of the Organic Trade Board (OTB).

Moore, until recently marketing director of Community Foods, has been a long-standing supporter and active member of OTB. He brings to the role a wealth of experience of brands – and plenty of boardroom experience too.

Outgoing OTB chair Anna Rosier said that the ongoing focus for organic trade body would be delivering the £3 million organic consumer campaign which it had been pivotal in securing and setting up. In a letter to members she said: “Priorities will be driving organic sales within all channels of distribution and raising issues we have as an organic industry with the best organisations to be able to deliver these.”

Rosier said she had enjoyed a time as OTB chair and welcomed Paul Moore into the post. “As a committee we feel Paul Moore will give the OTB the best chance of continuing to make change for the organic industry and build on what it has achieved to date.”
