With the natural living and home sector on the rise, the following is just a selection of new and innovative products on show at this year’s Natural & Organic Products Europe.
New products from The Bio-D Company (stand 1052) this year include: Geranium sanitising hand wash; Multi-use floor cleaner with linseed soap (for effective cleaning of all hard floors); Reformulated, concentrated dishwasher powder; and Ecological dishwasher rinse. (UK)
Libby Chan (stand 1053) is a probiotic cleaning liquid, which is fermented entirely from natural edible food products and powered by friendly bacteria and enzymes. The range also includes Libby’ Smelly Pet Tonic, and home compost system Libby’s Bokashi. New for 2014: Libby’s V-concentrate – a dairy free version of Libby suitable for vegans. (New exhibitor, UK)
Handmade Patounis’ olive soap (stand 3009) has been produced in a traditional soap manufacture in Corfu, Greece, since the 19th century. It is made of natural oils, with no additives, and is friendly to the skin. (New exhibitor, Greece)
Expotodo: French Green Products (stand 3043) will be showcasing a wide range of natural and organic products from France. Strapharm, a specialist manufacturer of food supplements, and Eco-Conseils, which produces organic wheat-filled hot bags, are just two of the brands on offer. (New exhibitor, France)
EZ Squeezees (stand 4080J in the USA Pavilion) are the new refillable and reusable food pouches for kids and adults. Simply unzip the large side opening, and fill with any pureed foods. (New exhibitor, USA)
Kingfisher Natural Toothpaste‘s latest addition is Children’s Strawberry Toothpaste (stand 8037). Like the rest of the range, it contains no artificial sweeteners, flavours, colourings or preservatives. It is also GM-free, vegan, never tested on animals and proudly carries the Ethical Consumer Best Buy stamp on every pack. (UK)
Prompted by a commitment to make a difference and to protect the environment Geoff and Helen Arden developed Greencane Paper (stand 9050). A sustainable alternative to forest-sourced paper, it recycles waste residue from sugar extraction into a range of hand and toilet paper. 100% biodegradable with no plastic packaging, it is made to world standard eco accreditation.
