Martin Last has formally been presented with the Health Food Institute Fellowship that was announced earlier in the year at the HFI Annual Luncheon and lecture.
The presentation was made at the recent HFMA Council Meeting by the Association’s chair, Lynn Lord.
Commenting on Martin’s Fellowship, HFI chairman, John Frisby, said: “Martin Last has been an active member of the HFMA for the past 10 years and finished his term as chair of the council of the HFMA last year. Martin’s contribution over the past three years has been invaluable. He has also represented the HFMA at international meetings with regulators, and other related associations and interest groups to help maintain communication and coordination on key topics within EU regulation.
“As an established and high profile consultant in the industry, Martin has over 22 years’ experience and attends industry events worldwide. Speaking at regular events in the UK, EU and US he has amassed considerable expertise on how the changing EU regulatory environment is influencing marketing strategies in the healthcare industry. He also writes for a number of trade journals on related topics.”
