Following their successful debut last year, the Love Energy Savings Awards are back to search for the most energy-conscious businesses in the UK.
The four award categories are: Stars of the Future – looking for exciting ideas that can cut energy bills and help our environment; SME Saver – celebrating the fact that the smallest changes can make all the difference; Super Saver – for big organizations that have taken extra measures to become more energy efficient; and Innovative Saver – looking for a new ways to cut energy usage and waste.
“The Love Energy Savings Awards were established to celebrate businesses large and small and their commitment to energy efficiency in the workplace,” commented Phil Foster, MD of Love Energy Savings. “If you pride yourself on being a green organization, whether you’ve introduced recycling, LED light bulbs or started a carpooling scheme, the Love Energy Savings Awards are your chance to shout about what you’ve done.”
He added: “Last year’s awards were such a huge success and we were extremely impressed by the calibre of entrants. This year we want to continue what we started and celebrate the wonderfully creative lengths that businesses go to in order to save themselves money and reduce their impact on the environment. Everyone has their part to play in making the planet greener and we hope that the fantastic work being done by our nominees will inspire others to become more eco-friendly.”
