Infinity Foods Wholesale has announced the retirement of its long-standing and well-respected head buyer Lindsay Morris, who is stepping down after over 30 years of dedicated service.

Morris joined Infinity Foods in 1984 at a time when the co-operative operated as a small shop in the Brighton Laines. He was instrumental in driving the business forward by setting up the wholesale arm of the co-op and developing the well-known Infinity brand.

“A passionate proponent of organic agriculture, Lindsay has been responsible for cementing Infinity’s reputation as the ‘go to’ supplier for organic products,” says the co-op’s Charlie Booth. “His dedication and knowledge has been of great assistance to all sectors in the natural products industry.

“His well-deserved retirement will allow him plenty of time to follow his joint passions of ornithology and Brighton & Hove Albion.”

Long-serving Infinity buyer Dom Jeffery will take over Morris’ role, supported by the rest of the buying team.
