Craig Sams wins Outstanding Achievement Award

The organic food pioneer Craig Sams has won the 2012 Natural Products Achievement Award at the Natural and Organic Awards (Sunday 1 April)

Craig Sams is the founder of Green & Black’s, Whole Earth Foods and Carbon Gold. He is also co-owner of Judges Bakery in Hastings, an organic bakery and grocery store, and is a former Chairman of the SoilAssociation.

Last year’s Outstanding Achievement Award winner, Peter Kindersley, said: “Craig Sams is someone whom I call a true ‘eco warrior’ of the very best kind – always ready to expose the many fraudulent claims of Big Food and Big Pharma. He has ‘fought’ in the very best sense for everything we know is true and good.”
