5,000 head for Brighton Vegfest

Over 5,000 people attended this year’s Brighton Vegfest show which took place over the Mother’s Day weekend (29-30 March) at the Hove Centre.

Highlights of this year’s show including the appearances of former Everton FC player Neil Robinson – the world’s first top flight vegan footballer, Goldblade frontman John Robb and top nutritionist Gareth Zeal. Around 125 stands featured a huge range of vegan food and drink, while kids were kept busy with a host of special activities laid on for Mother’s Day Sunday.

As well as some captivating performances and comedy slots,
a fundraising auction hosted by John Robb was held in aid of the Animal Welfare Party’s bid to win a seat at the May EU Elections.
