Anti-mosquito brand incognito has introduced a new natural and sustainable Insect Repellent Lotion designed to provide a more thorough application while at the same time moisturizing and nourishing the skin.

The incognito Insect Repellent Lotion contains naturally-derived PMD – the same active ingredient as used in the brand’s spray and roll-on formulations – and a moisturizing base of organic aloe.

The brand stresses that PMD is the only other active ingredient apart from DEET that is approved by Public Health England, the Centre for Disease Control and the NHS as being suitable for all destinations worldwide.

The lotion – which is certified COSMOS Natural and registered with the Vegan Society – comes packaged in sugarcane-derived plastic, and unlike a spray, there’s zero wastage on application. It has a great scent, says incognito, a non-greasy feel and is suitable for the whole family, including babies from six months.

Tested to last 22% longer than ordinary PMD-based repellents, the product is clinically proven to be 100% effective against mosquitoes for at least four hours as well as providing good protection for up to seven hours. It also works against insects like midges, sand flies and black flies.

The launch is being backed by a national PR and advertising campaign and point of sale materials.
