The Health Food Manufacturers’ Association (HFMA) has announced the appointment of Houaida Alawieh as the new Technical Manager. Houaida brings a wealth of expertise to the role, with her specialist insights in food legislation, regulatory affairs, and industry best practices, as well as extensive experience in the global regulatory affairs domain.
In her new role, Houaida will work closely with CLEAR CHECK, assisting with technical queries and staying updated on regulatory issues that may impact HFMA members and the industry. Her appointment enhances the technical and regulatory support available to HFMA members and their marketing teams, providing them with expert advice and insight.
Martin Last, HFMA Director General, expressed his enthusiasm for the new appointment: ‘I am extremely pleased to welcome Houaida to the team. Her experience and knowledge will be a great asset to the HFMA and our members.
