To complete the special edition collection range rolled out during 2017 to celebrate its 20th anniversary, Green People has launched a new skin care essential: Damask Rose Facial Oil.

The nourishing, skin-softening blend of combines thistle seed, sweet almond, jojoba, avocado and rosehip oils which work in synergy to help keep skin soft and supple.

Designed to improve skin texture and firmness while locking-in hydration and reducing fine lines and wrinkles, the Damask Rose Facial Oil uses a rose aroma blend containing rose otto, which is gently steam distilled from hand-picked blooms.

This rose otto is blended with:

  • Top notes from lemon and lavender: a light, fresh and slightly sweet floral aroma, lavender has a calming effect and has a soothing, anti-inflammatory and balancing effect on skin; sharp, clean and fresh lemon peel oil is good for oily skin and brightens a pale, dull complexion.
  • Middle notes from basil, jasmine and marjoram: the sweet and refreshing aroma of basil helps with clarity and strength of mind; with its warm, woody and spicy aroma marjoram has a soothing, warming effect; sweet, richly floral jasmine is both relaxing and uplifting and useful for dry, sensitive and mature skin, improving skin tone and elasticity.
  • Base notes from ho wood and ylang ylang: floral, fresh, sweet and woody, ho wood is emotionally balancing and said to aid sleep and soothe and rejuvenate the skin; with its intensely sweet floral scent, ylang ylang is an effective mood lifter and has a skin-balancing effect.
