The Vegan Society is offering its popular Vegan Passport as an app (Windows, iOS, Android) for the first time.

Created to allow globetrotting vegans to “travel the world with confidence and enjoy local dishes without compromising your beliefs”, the new app packs in a range of essential phrases in languages covering 96% of the world’s population.

The fifth edition of the guide has been updated with a new design and layout, and expanded to 78 languages including Hausa, Igbo, Xhosa and Zulu.

And when words don’t work, there is the new and improved ‘If All Else Fails’ section which includes special illustrations to help explain what a vegan does and does not eat, no matter where you are in the world.
