Entries are now open for The Beauty Shortlist’s Mama & Baby Awards which are returning to highlight the best clean, green, ethical products for mums, mums-to-be and babies, toddlers and children.
Categories include natural beauty and baby care, pre- and post-natal products, natural skincare, hair and make-up, nappy balms, eco nappies, bath time, playtime, nutrition and natural supplements, plus practical accessories including changing bags and safety monitors.
“Virtually everything a new mum and her baby would need will be on the new winners list, making it easy for parents to choose gentler plant-powered heroes that are kind to babies and our planet,” says awards founder Fiona Klonarides.
“Because organic products are very much in favour, the natural and organic beauty and baby industry still faces greenwashing from brands wanting to edge their way into the ‘clean market’ but with products that are not natural or organic and do not belong in a baby’s bathroom.
“The awards provide an expert-compiled guide to the best, tested, all-natural safe and gentle products for mums and their little ones, all by ethical brands – the products with trustworthy, transparent INCI/ingredients that work well and are beautiful to use.”
