Entry is now open for the Beauty Shortlist ECO Awards, founded last year to encourage consumers to lead a less throw-away lifestyle, choose planet-positive products and rethink their personal impact on the environment.
“Living an environmentally aware lifestyle and saying no to plastic – especially single use – is not hard once you have the basics in place and it becomes habitual and natural,” says awards founder Fiona Klonarides. “One of the most powerful catalysts for change is ‘voting with your wallet’ so it’s so important to support the ethical and sustainable brands doing good work by creating planet-positive products and solutions. The ECO Awards are an annual reminder of what we can and should be doing day in, day out, all year long.”
The awards are 100% sponsor-free and will be judged by a panel of green living experts. They are designed to provide a level playing field for both big household brands and indie artisan start-ups alike, with categories spanning everything from Green Kitchen and Eco Garden to Ocean & Forest Protection and Consumer Awareness.
