Danish organic beauty company Urtekram has upgraded its bodycare range to meet the new COSMOS standard which will come into force after 31 December 2016.

The creams and lotions in the offer now contain more than 20% organic dry matter (up from a minimum of 10% under Ecocert Greenlife guidelines) and a maximum of 2% synthetic content (down from 5%).

“We are incredibly proud that the Urtekram range meets the stringent COSMOS-standard,” said  Bo Iversen from Urtekram International. “Our passion is to create products that are pure, honest and composed by nature itself, and the COSMOS-standard goes a long way towards embodying those values.”

The Urtekram range has also been repackaged to ease consumer recognition and the formulations have been enhanced for improved functionality.

The company is planning to add to its range in the coming year.
