Tideford Organics is heading for a busy autumn, when it will relaunch as the first dedicated organic vegan brand on the UK market.
It will be introducing a fresh batch of new soups, sauces, pestos and miso pastes – the first fresh miso paste offer in the chilled market, says the company.
The new soup flavours include warming Sweet Potato, Ginger & Black Onion Seed; Red Lentil, Apricot & Chilli; and Beetroot & Curly Kale. There are also superfood recipes such as Supergreens with Seaweed, Spirulina & Quinoa; and Smoky Tomato, Black Rice & Chilli. And finally, the miso broth range includes Brown Rice Miso Broth Mushroom & Kale & Tamari; and Soya-Free Miso Broth Coconut & Coriander.
Tideford Organics is also introducing a fresh miso paste offer, the first of its kind in the chilled market. Comprising Fresh Red Miso, Fresh White Miso, Fresh Brown Rice Miso and Fresh Soya-Free Miso, the range can be used to add depth and flavour to soups, stews and other dishes.
“As a dedicated, ethical and organic producer, the move to vegan was the obvious next step”, says the brand’s managing director, Lynette Sinclair. “The evidence of the impact we could make by removing meat and dairy from our recipes was too compelling to ignore and we wanted to do our bit to help.”
Low in fat and salt, the new range of soups, sauces, pestos and miso pastes is gluten-, meat- and dairy-free, with no added sugar, and will be rolled out in September.
