Organic seasonal food brand Rod and Ben’s has created two new soups for summer: Mushroom & Thyme (with a hint of port) and Aromatic Chicken & Vegetable (with a warming infusion of Indian Spices).
Mushroom & Thyme (with a hint of port) combines mushrooms, fresh thyme, Fonseca Terra Prima Reserva Organic Port, garlic and fresh milk to give an earthy flavour with a subtle sweet warmth. The brand says it identified mushroom as a wholesome flavour missing from its range of healthy vegetarian gluten-free soups.
Aromatic Chicken & Vegetable (with a warming infusion of Indian Spices) contains chicken, mushrooms, onions, fennel seed, onion seed, mustard seed, chilli powder, coriander and a drop of organic honey. A chicken soup with a difference, this variety aims to provide an honest, tasty and wholesome aromatic soup.
In addition to the launch, the brand has announced that Planet Organic has taken on the two new varieties as well as its Pea & Mint soup.
