Leading veg box operator Riverford Organic is set to launch into the recipe kit market, reports The Grocer.
Riverford MD Rob Haward told the food industry weekly that the new boxes, which will include measured ingredients and step-by-step meal instructions, are aimed at shoppers who “lack the time and confidence” to make the most of conventional veg boxes.
Riverford piloted the recipe kit boxes last year and is expected to launch ‘set menu boxes’ in three variants in early summer.
