Vita Coco has announced that Rhianna will join the list of stars set to promote the drink in this summer’s national advertising campaign.She joins celebrity supporters including Madonna and Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis.
The coconut drink saw 1223% growth in 2010, and more than two million servings have been sold since the start of 2011.
The coconut water used in Vita Coco comes from young green coconuts and contains 20 times more potassium than leading sports drinks. Each 330ml serving has more potassium than two bananas.
