Metcalfe’s skinny has announced the launch of its Popcorn Crisps range of gluten-free snacks in three initial flavours, designed as a healthier alternative to crisps when on the go.
The crisps are created through an innovative flash-griddle process, giving them 35% less fat than the average tortilla chip.
The varieties are: Kettle Original, described as having subtle notes of melted butter, black pepper and lemon; Sweet Chilli, packing a punch with chilli and tomato flavours; and Say Cheese with rich Cheddar cheese and paprika at only 37 calories per serving.
“We are enormously proud to be bringing Popcorn Crisps to our customers,” said Max Rees, MD of Metcalfe’s Food Company. “The Metcalfe’s skinny brand has grown enormously in the past couple of years so this is an extremely exciting time for the brand to be extending our innovative product range.”
