Early in January the Panda Liquorice team took a trip to Edinburgh Zoo to meet the Chinese pandas they help support through profits from the brand’s Strawberry Bears.
Lisa Gawthorne, MD of Panda Liquorice, spent the weekend giving away samples of the Strawberry Bears at the zoo.
She said: “We had a fantastic weekend up in Edinburgh, our Panda enjoyed running around giving away liquorice and meeting all the excited panda fans. We were delighted to meet the real pandas and so pleased that by launching these strawberry bears we can support this pair of pandas and the overall conservation of such a special species. In panda terms, we hope to donate the equivalent of 1,500 tonnes of bamboo!”
