Newly launched natural food brand nutrii has introduced a range of quark tubs to the UK healthy eating market in a bid to encourage Brits to take a second look at this protein packed and virtually fat-free snack.

With a protein content of at least 20g per pot, the company says it keeps you going for longer and is a perfect snack after an intense, calorie-burning workout. Plain nutrii contains just 49kcal per and comprises less than 0.1 % fat. It is all-natural and contains absolutely no additives.

The brand is flagging up the versatility of quark which can be used as an ingredient in smoothies, spread on rye toast, as a replacement for cream in cooking and baking or eaten simply with the addition of your favourite toppings such as fruit and muesli.

nutrii is also designed to suit an active lifestyle and can be easily enjoyed on-the-go as an al desko breakfast treat or a post-workout protein boost. It’s made in Britain using Dorset milk and is available in Plain, Raspberry and Mango & Passionfruit varieties.

British slopestyle snowboarder Aimee Fuller, who represented Great Britain at the 2014 Winter Olympics, has become nutrii’s brand ambassador. She commented: “I am very passionate about my nutrition and putting energy into my training, my favourite breakfast is my homemade banana pancakes or waffles, topped with hot blueberries, plain nutrii and almond butter.”

Launched into Whole Foods, As Nature Intended and a raft of deli and health foods stores across the South East, nutrii is currently lining up a host of national stockists.
