Nature’s Path has stepped in to sponsor one of the UK’s biggest bio-diversity surveys – Bee Scene – after the initiative’s National Lottery funding ended this year.

The Bee Scene project was set up by Plantlife, the UK’s national plant conservation charity, and this partnership marks the organic cereal company’s first ever UK sponsorship.

“As an organic, family-owned company, with a strong commitment to the natural environment, we recognize the importance of educating children early about the importance of our wild flowers and the pollinators that rely on them,” commented Andy Lewis, marketing manager, Nature’s Path. “We’re thrilled to be able to support Plantlife to continue this fantastic survey, so that many more children and families can take part and ‘Bee Scene’.”

Paul Flynn, Plantlife’s head of development added: “Over 30,000 children have already taken part in Bee Scene since its launch in 2010. Now, thanks to the support of Nature’s Path, that work can carry on.”
