Organic superfood sports supplements brand Motion Nutrition has signed a deal with Whole Foods Market which sees its products stocked across all seven of its London stores.

The company was set up by former Commonwealth swimmer Joe Welstead and Charlie Matthews (pictured above) to offer a range of pre-, mid- and post-workout hydration and nutrition made with purely natural and organic ingredients.

““The deal stemmed from an initial meeting at the Natural & Organic Products Europe tradeshow in April, where the buyers were as impressed with our products as they were with our stand. They had previously spotted our products in Planet Organic and sought us out at the event to meet us.

“We are extremely excited about working with such an internationally renowned retailer in the natural food space, and feel this is the start of a strong partnership together. We are confident that our products will be received very well by Whole Foods Market shoppers.”

The Motion Nutrition range was developed in conjunction with Miguel Mateas, expert in functional nutrition and chair of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT).
