Australian natural skincare brand MooGoo, which launched in the UK earlier this year following growing demand from UK consumers, has just won Silver for the Best Natural Launch at the Pure Beauty Awards 2013.

The brand originated when company founder Craig Jones adapted a cream that was originally formulated for cows’ udders, to help a member of his family with a skin problem.

Since this time, the range has expanded to over 30 facial, scalp and body products designed for sensitive and irritated skin, including Scalp Cream, Blemish Cleansing Moisturiser and How Now Brown Cow self-tanning cream, which has been recommended by Gwyneth Paltrow in her online magazine GOOP.

The original Skin Milk Udder Cream is now being recommended by various oncologists and hospitals in Australia for aiding skin recovery from the side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

The products use healing ingredients including zinc, elderberry, sweet almond oil and marshmallow.

MooGoo also offers a range specifically formulated for mothers, babies and infants, including new Mini Moo Bubbly Wash and Nappy Balm.

Free from paraffin, parabens and other harsh chemicals and are packed with natural, edible ingredients, the line is also certified carbon neutral, has recyclable packaging, and uses natural oils from sustainable farms.
