Heather Mills’ vegan café has re-opened for the summer after a facelift and a change of focus. VBites, which is set next to a children’s playground on Hove seafront, is now aimed at “Mums and Dads on the run” and has been re-launched as a “convenient fast food restaurant.”

The menu is still animal product-free, and many dishes feature ingredients from Redwood Wholefood, which Mills acquired in 2009, including a to-go range of Redwood’s new oils.

“It really does feel very different,” said one early visitor from the Natural Products team. “It’s much less formal and the emphasis is on kid-friendly food, like burgers and pizzas, but with a vegan twist.”
