Marigold Health Foods is making a foray into the convenience sector with a new line of soups, each containing a day’s dose of vitamin D.

The Sunshine Soup range comes in three flavours: Tomato, Mushroom and Minestrone with Croutons, each with added mushroom powder, providing the added vitamin D.

Commenting on the launch, Patrick Tobin, Marigold Health Foods’ MD, says: “Marigold now brings you summer in the depths of winter. There’s nothing quite like being out in the sunshine, but we can’t escape the fact that we spend many months without that opportunity in the UK. No one needs to suffer vitamin D deficiency because dietary sources have proven to be very reliable. Our cup soups provide a format of vitamin D suitable for everyone.”

The soups are free of GMO ingredients, artificial preservatives, colouring and flavourings. They are seasons with sea salt, spices and all-natural flavourings.
