The Konjac Sponge Company has unveiled new premium packaging and extended its range of face and body sponges.

The natural vegetable fibre sponges are made from the konjac potato or konnyaku, a perennial plant native to Asia which grows wild at very high altitudes, with added mineral-rich French clays.

Naturally alkaline, konjac is pH neutral to leave skin perfectly balanced, and there is a sponge available for all skin types.

The sponges are effective cleansers and exfoliators and work either with or without cleansers, leaving skin rejuvenated and pores refined.

The new additions to the range are The Gentleman’s Sponge (ideal for shaving, as it foams as well as a badger brush, but without hurting a single badger!); The Face Mouse, an ergonomically formed sponge, the same shape as a computer mouse, available in bamboo charcoal or 100% pure Konjac; and The Pink Heart with nourishing pink clay.

The new packaging, which covers the whole range of face and body sponges, is made from fully recyclable PET (which is already 25% recycled) and card.

The sponges all carry the Vegan Society and Cruelty-Free logos.
