Whole Foods Market is planning a move into spa resorts, reports USA Today.

Whole Foods co-founder John Mackey told the newspaper that the company had “found the perfect vehicle for this,” adding that the concept could be thought of as “a centre where people would go for a day, a weekend or a week for healthy lifestyle education.”

The resort, likely to be based in Whole Foods’ home town of Austin, Texas, could be up and running within the next three years, the newspaper says and is likely to use ‘Whole Foods’ in its name.
