Sports nutrition and healthy lifestyle products wholesaler CLF has sailed into victory in a corporate yacht race hosted by the south coast office of accountancy and financial services group Smith & Williamson.

Among the crew of the winning yacht were some well-known face from the UK health food trade (see caption below).

CLF won the best of three legs in the Solent between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight, competing against five other yachts from the Clipper Round the World Yacht race fleet. More than 60 people took part in the face.

Richard Green, the managing director of the Smith & Williamson’s south coast office in Southampton, said: “The weather made for great sailing, with a force four to five wind and plenty of sunshine. It was a memorable and exhilarating way for people to talk business and team build at the same time.”

That winning crew:
Robin Holiday – CLF
Martin Farrin – Emporio UK
Kiran Haisman – CLF
Robert Lawrence – CLF
Alan Martin – Food For Thought
Julie Goodwin – Natural Health
